I thought Niles and Daphne (sorry if i spell their names wrong) never really got together until the last episode when she ran out on her wedding and got in the RV with Niles.
however I have been seeing only episodes where the two were together.. They are getting married on my tv right now! Was the RV scene not the last episode? Are these all episodes that happen after that?
Can someone explain the Niles/Daphne story on Frasier?
No that wan't the last episode, in fact it goes on for a while where they are married and have all kinds of little marriage problems, like getting used to each others habbits and stuff. After a while the actress that played Daphne got pregnant, and to work it into the show, they had her somehow become an over eater, and when she really started showing Niles sent her off to "fat camp" or a fat spa or something. After she gave birth in real life, they brought her back to the show, now thin from fat camp. I love that show!

It's more of a Gothic romance than a traditional romance. I would say that Rebecca is a bit darker than Jane Eyre, though there are strong elements of romance in the story. I highly recommend the book, especially if you enjoyed Jane Eyre. Have fun!

How do I prune a daphne?
My daphne has flowered well this year but it is a bit leggy and I would like to improve it's shape. Obviously while it is flowering is not the time, but I read somewhere that is is best not to prune. Also will it grow from cuttings, any advice welcome. Perfume is fantastic!

Daphne can be pruned but if you do and the pruning is not correct you can cause untold damage, you will find that it flowers on the new wood made this year so if you cut this off then you will get fewer flowers next year.
Cuttings;
Take cuttings of about 9ins long, the top cut should slant down from the top bud \ and you should cut under the bottom buds with a straight cut - and the cutting should be last years wood, this will in turn allow you to give your bush a light prune, put these cuttings in a large pot with only 3ins above the top of the pot

Normally, pruning is not required and i wonder why it has grown leggy in the first place? Does it have enough light? Anyway, after flowering it can be lightly pruned on a dry day, preferably in the morning. The only thing i've found that it resents, is being transplanted.
For propagation, you can take semi-ripe cuttings in summer or plant seed when it's fresh. Cultivars by cutttings only.
Remember to use a peaty soil. Good luck, x

I personally like Rosario Dawson, she is a much better Mimi, although Daphne Rubin-Vega is the original, Rosario's voice sounds MUCH better, Daphne's voice is all raspery and hoarse, I hate her broadway versions of the RENT songs she performs, Ex. Before their book is finished, Jessica and Daphne have had to reveal their most vulnerable spots to each other and Jessica has had to betray Daphne's trust.
The plot has many things in common with Janet Taylor Lisle's Afternoon of the Elves as both books involve secret home horrors that must be revealed by a friend entrusted with that secret. In the case of Daphne, the thing she most dreads, being put in a foster home, does happen and Jessica's guilt is clear.
Interestingly, Jessica's life is not a picture book one either. Her parents are divorced and her mother is very involved with her work. The typical seventh graders overwhelming need to belong is a subplot of the book and it complicates Jessica's feelings about Daphne and Hope. This is a book about friendship, thoughtless cruelty and real values. There is also the play on words in the title to discuss. Obviously, there is a book involved in the plot but is this novel itself also primarily Daphne's book?

I want some opinions from those who have read the novel, Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier. Do you find many psychology-related elements in the novel? I have to finish a term paper by next week so if any of you have some ideas, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.

I found almost the whole book based on the psychological haunting by Rebecca of the young Mrs de Winter. Rebecca isn't a ghost, but her pervading spirit affects almost everything that takes place at Manderley. It's a long time since I read it, but I still remember Mrs Danvers' obsession with her erstwhile mistress, which leads her spitefully to try to undermine the new young wife; and the new Mrs de Winter, despite being young and unnamed, and unaccustomed to her new lifestyle - which makes her particularly unsure of herself - is certainly not a weak heroine.

If given the chance, would you think Daphne Blake of Scooby-Doo would cut it as a Super Heroine?
I am currently writing short stories about Daphne becoming a super heroine known as "Fashion Girl"
As Daphne, Fashion Girl has an arsenal of weapons that look like ordinary cosmetics but aren't used for that purpose. Fashion Girl also has super strength and her costume can change to accomodate certain situations such as a rescue at sea, or rescue from a burning building. Fashion Girl also has two assistants named "Tiffany" and "Penney Dillard" who also have their own powers and drives around in a pink Lamborghini known as "The Glam Mobile" and her base of operation called "The Mystique Boutique".
Given this information, would you think Fashion Girl also stands a chance as a possible comic book or TV series?

5. Eat alot of fiber, fruits and vegetables. As well as drink plenty of milk and try to eat a little of each food group.
6. If this is the patients first check up and everything went well I would ask her to return in 4 weeks for a follow up.

Daphne Moon & Daphne Crane on Fraiser why did the writers change her charater.?
I don't mean actually changing her whole charater but if you've watch Frasier Seasons 1-6 and then watch the final season (I don't have the complete set) You can totally tell Daphne moon is more sincere, kind, a bit weird, but still has a bit of an attidude at times. But in the last season. Dahpne Crane is all about attitdude and whines, moans and is a real crank. She doesn't even have the sweet British accent anymore. Oh another thing she looks different. Did she have plastic surgery?

I think she also looks different because she lost so much weight and her makeup and hair is different. It's kind of like how Rachel in friends lost so much weight.

I am looking at dressing up as Daphne from Scooby Doo. But just like last year, there is only one costume available as Daphne from all the costumers, and it sucks. It is more of a take on what the movie Daphne wore...a sleeveless shiny purple dress with boots. I want to dress like the actual cartoon...the long sleeved dress, pink tights, etc.

That's what my 5 year old makes us call her. Her name is Tegan but has been "Daphne" for about 2 years. Guess what she was for halloween. Love it!
