I don't mean actually changing her whole charater but if you've watch Frasier Seasons 1-6 and then watch the final season (I don't have the complete set) You can totally tell Daphne moon is more sincere, kind, a bit weird, but still has a bit of an attidude at times. But in the last season. Dahpne Crane is all about attitdude and whines, moans and is a real crank. She doesn't even have the sweet British accent anymore. Oh another thing she looks different. Did she have plastic surgery?

Reply:She had a baby. She was pregnant in real life but they did not write it into the show. They made a lot of fat jokes though.
Once she became a Crane, of course she got more whiney! Both the brothers were huge whiners!

Reply:Unfortunately, when a show starts to be slotted for cancellation, writers will start changing everything to bring viewership up. I don't know of many shows where this actually worked. The only ones I can think of are children's shows.
Reply:I KNOW because I was just watching a Frasier rerun now. I feel like in the first seasons she was more like the "hired help" from England and they had to make her more cute and naive. But when she became Niles' wife, she became more like the "Cranes" - more affluent, more attitude. She was always really pretty and I think the audience likes the pretty polished type so they went with it. I think she also looks different because she lost so much weight and her makeup and hair is different. It's kind of like how Rachel in friends lost so much weight.
