I personally like Rosario Dawson, she is a much better Mimi, although Daphne Rubin-Vega is the original, Rosario's voice sounds MUCH better, Daphne's voice is all raspery and hoarse, I hate her broadway versions of the RENT songs she performs, Ex. Light my Candle, Out Tonight, With out you, Rosario's voice is also much more soothing, i don't care what anybody says about how Daphne was the original, ann how she was in other famous broadway plays and all, ugh, i'm tired of hearing that! All in All i think Rosario did EXTREMLEY WELL as Mimi, and i'm also glad Daphne was pregnant during the production of the movie.....ROSARIO DAWSON IS MUUUCCCCCHHHHH BETTERRRRRRR!
Who do you think is a better Mimi, Rosario Dawson, or Daphne Rubin-Vega ?
daphne.. she did that role every night for how ever many years... there is no doubt in my mind that she was better vocally. I would be interested to know how many people who voted that dawson was better actually saw Daphne perform?
