Reply:If you're studying the original "Metamorphoses", try the Perseus Library. This is a well known classics site that provides both the originals and their English translations.





Here's the link to the story of Apollo (Phoebus) and Daphne, which starts at line 452 of Book 1 (1.452). The link will land you at the Latin version and I suggest you use the "Brookes More English" translation for reference.
