How come Fred and Daphne always go by themselves to look for clues and leave Velma with Shaggy and Scooby?

Think about It!

How come Fred and Daphne always go by themselves to look for clues and leave Velma with Shaggy and Scooby?
Okay...I'm thinking. Done. It's actually obvious, Fred likes Daphne and I'm pretty sure Daphne likes Fred, too. Velma, Shaggy and Scooby are kinda rejects I suppose. I wouldn't mind Shaggy, though.
Reply:I always thought Velma was like the "safety backup" for Fred and Daphne. They went on ahead to follow the most obvious clue and Velma stayed put to look for less obvious clues. I think, if you pay close attention, Velma seems to always be the most thorough and independent of the group. While Velma follows a secondary clue, that's when Shaggy and Scooby Doo get left behind. Then the monster, who is really the property tax man with a rubber mask on, shows up to scare and chase Shaggy and Scooby Doo through the secret passage that opens up behind the fireplace.
Reply:So they can make out whilst the others are a bunch of mugs...

Reply:uh, simple. they LOVE each other.
