Do you think that the narrator is a weak character? If so why. you don't have to go into detail, i just want to see peoples thoughts
On Daphne Du Mauriers novel Rebecca?
I found her to be weak at first, but I felt like she really grew stronger as the book went on and ended up a much stronger character.
Reply:Yes, at first. As she grew up she got stronger because she had to.
Reply:I think she was weak. She had little to no self-esteem and constantly compared herself to a ghost.
Reply:you must keep in mind the time period in which it was written.no, I don't think she was weak, just a victim of her
culture of her time.
Reply:I believe the narrator, the heroine of the story, is simply shy and bit self-conscious. And I don't think either characteristic necessarily makes her weak.
