anyone ever read the book? what did you think about it? I LOVED it!
Rebecca By Daphne Du Maurier?
I have read the book, the sequel and watched Hitchcock's movie so many times that whenever I fall asleep in front of the tv (no matter what's on), my hubby wakes me by calling out "Hey, Rebecca!" lol
What an amazing story it is!!! I love it!
Reply:I think it is an exciting story, but the heroine is a bit of a ninny. And I would not myself care to be married to a man who shot his first wife. That sort of thing can become a habit.
Reply:I love Daphne Du Maurier books. Check out Hitchcock's treatments of a few of her works...Rebecca is fascinating..The Birds is a hoot...Very interesting.

Reply:I extremely enjoyed the book. So much so, that I bought and read the sequel, Mrs. DeWinter, even though it was written by someone else.
Reply:I had to read it in 8th grade. I did a report on it. I thought it was really good.
