It was the last episode I saw, recorded it on my betamax and everything

LOL... i take it thats a joke...atleast you came out of your coma with a sense of humour...ive been consious all this time and i dont evens know..that was many moons ago...LOL..thanks for the laugh!

Something like that it was nearly 20yrs ago.

What really gets me though is that Toby Mangle went away for a while, and by the time he got back he had had plastic surgery to his face, looked totally different and nobody even noticed!





Same happened to Martin in Eastenders.....it must be a plot!

was very sad, as des sat by her bed and said "i love you" she replied "i love you too clarkie" then flatlined





and the fact i recall the storyline just goes to show how sad i am

Reply:Daphne was in a car crash with Gail and she was in a coma and then Des told her he loved her and she said it back and then died. Des stayed in the show for a while and then he moved on to pastures new with baby Jamie. Melanie with the donkey laugh married Joe Mangel not Des.

Reply:Yeah i agree with most other answers about her coma and that, but she also had a baby by outdoors and she was still wearing her tights when it was delivered.
