What do you think of the name daphne?

What do you think of the name daphne?
I like the older less common names. So many people these days come up with the weirdest names for their kids, some sound so made up. I always feel sorry for the kids because you know they will be teased later in life lol! I think Daphne is a beautiful name.
Reply:It's not a name that I am personally fond of...don't like the NN Daffy that she might get. However, it is not horrible by any means. It has a solid history of use and would suit a little girl just fine.
Reply:It is not very common right now, which is great..... and I really like it!! Yes, it is a character for Scooby Doo.....but who cares? :o) I think it's a great name! Hope that helps!!
