what would you think a baby with that name would grow up to be? what kind of personality would it have?
What do you think of the names "daphne rose" and "sean henry" for a new baby (don't know the sex)?
Old before their time is what they'd be. The boys name isnt so bad but Daphne for a girl is awful - too old fashioned and just not a name for a baby xxxx
Reply:daphne rose would be cute, and helpful..
sean henry would be strong and kinda naughty...
i like both names...
Reply:i dont like daphne at all. it reminds me of a duck! sorry!! i do love rose though!! very pretty and sweet!! sean henry is o.k!!!
Reply:Daphne rose- a shy but polite adult.who is hard
working.Possibly a high bussiness person
sean henry - a friendly strong adult.Who would be possbile a
office worker
Reply:The girl is alright. I dislike both of the boy names however, they sound low class. Congratulations, and I hope everything works out for you.
Reply:I don't like Daphne Rose, I think it's too old fashioned. Sean Henry is nice though although I prefer Sean to go with a different middle name.
Daphne...A shy girly girl.
Sean...Just a typical boy really who likes cars lol.
Reply:I like the "Sean Henry" for a boy, but naming a girl "Daphne" is cruel. "Daphne" is a dumb name, like "Daisy." That little girl is going to need a real credible name to make it in this world. Babies' personalities are usually set by age two, so the names wouldn't make a difference, but what would make a difference is how they're treated by others later on, whether at school or at work.
Reply:Daphne Rose is SO pretty!! I think that she would be a warm and intellegent girl, and I really like the combination!!
Sean Henry is nice as well, makes me think of the colour blue for some reason...
Reply:daphne rose-a quiet;shy and friendly person who is likely to be hardworking
sean henry-a lively person who will love to hang out alot with friends
Reply:Since you and the baby are who would live with the decision, shouldn't your opinion matter most at this point? Both are nice, and if they work with the last name you're going with, if you like them then that's what matters, right?
Daphne Rose would only be confusing to someone if they knew daphne was a kind of laurel, but still... it's cute. The name connotes someone that appreciates beauty and nature, who is on the shy side...
As for Sean Henry, it's a good, strong name that seems to connote a person who leads well. Since Henry means "ruler of the household," it might mean he will have a bit of an attitude, or it might mean that he will be very responsible...
Reply:Daphne Rose sounds like the name of a very pretty, intelligent, confident girl. She'd probably grow up to be a lawyer or an activist of some kind.
Sean Henry is such a nice, classic name that I can't really come up with a stereotype for it. But it definitely sounds like the name of someone intelligent and grounded.
Great picks. :)
Reply:I like the name Daphne, not crazy about Rose. Sean is cute, and I know there is a growing trend to name boys Henry, but to me it still seems like an old man's name.
Daphne is Hebrew for "victory", so there must be something better that would go with it. Sean just means "John"...with another middle name it would be fine. My son's name is Devon (like Kevin but with a D) and he has two middle names, one of which was going to be Sean but I changed it to Shane at the last minute and have always regretted it.
Reply:Sean Henry is nice. Sounds like a nice solid name.
Daphne Rose sounds like a stripper name to me.
Reply:Lovely names, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. A name doesn't dictate a personality. Personality is a balance of nature and nurture - and the nurture is down to you, hon!
Reply:I love both. Daphne Rose sounds fresh and girly whereas Sean Henry is strong and handsome
I imagine both names on smart, attractive people. Daphne is a bit of a free-spirit, she's creative and has a playful streak, whereas Sean is popular and confident.
Reply:like the boys names and like Rose but not a fan of Daphne.
