What do you like better for a girl's name: Rowan, Hannah, Daphne, or Violet?

What do you like better for a girl's name: Rowan, Hannah, Daphne, or Violet?
though its a pretty name, "hannah" is too common.


"violet" is nice because its a type of flower and a pretty purple color, too.


rowan is a nice name but it might be hard to come up with nicknames for it.


daphne is my least favorite because i think she's the red-head in scooby-doo! but, its unique and there are many more nicknames (daph, nee-nee...) for it than rowan.

Reply:Not Rowan! That was the name of the college I graduated from~~ Rowan University. My friend's daughter is named Hannah, i've always liked that name. and to be honest, i'm not quite fond of the last 2. sorry

Reply:Rowan is a classic unique name and my personal fav in the bunch. Hannah is another wonderful choice but also very common. Violet also brings to mind Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And Daphne, well, I personally just don't care for it.

Reply:I like Violet, just because it sounds nice when she is little and also sounds nice when she is an adult women. Nothing is worse then being named a cutesy name like Heidi or Daisy, its cute when your little but not so cute when your big...lol
